Late October, 1880. The first blizzard of the Long Winter roars across the Midwest, dumping vast amounts of snow and bringing the area to a standstill. Your train from Dodge City, slogs though the ever-mounting snowfall until the wind and snow cause it to derail a few miles from Salina. The train cars provide shelter for a time. Then something far worse than the weather arrives. Now, the train cars are set ablaze; your only course of action is to brave the storm and dark, and head for Salina. Then, you should be safe.
