Bloc by Bloc is a cooperative and semi-cooperative area control board game inspired by 21st-century protest movements, riots, and popular uprisings. Developed by Outlandish Games (formerly Out of Order Games), the game challenges players to control factions of revolutionaries—Workers, Students, Neighbors, or Prisoners—as they fight against police forces to liberate a city.

The current 3rd edition, titled Bloc by Bloc: Uprising, is considered the definitive version, featuring streamlined mechanics, new components like mutual aid centers, and a narrative-driven Liberation deck. Key gameplay elements include:

Semi-Cooperative Play: Players typically work together to liberate the city, but hidden agendas may allow some factions to pursue independent, selfish victory conditions.
Area Control & Strategy: The game involves building barricades, occupying districts, looting shopping centers, and managing limited resources over 10 nights before the military intervenes.
Variable Setup: Each game features a unique, randomly generated city layout with distinct districts that influence strategy.
Player Count: Designed for 1–4 players, with a playtime of approximately 90–120 minutes for ages 14+.
