The Jerry Stefek Memorial Crawl for the Cure: Return to the Carnival of the Damned!

You experienced a day of marvelous fun at the wondrous traveling carnival which practically materialized outside your village! Clowns, animals, performers with astonishing skills to please the eye and much more danced before you and your children as you took in the joyous event! But now, you have woken in the night in an unknown panic and cold sweat - there is something wrong with the children! You leap from your bed to see the childrens' beds empty with a trail of wax paper candy wrappers leading to the gateway of a darkly transformed Carnival. The trail of wrappers continues into the (pink?) mist and you must follow, screaming your child's name in hopes of a response to soothe your fearful soul...

Get your admission for this extraordinary Mega-funnel as we Return to the Carnival of the Damned! It was our first, but with knowing little of what we were doing back in 2019, we want to bring back this legend done right! We'll also be putting in some mechanics from Dungeon Dwelling Creatures from Rugby-Melee games to add to your excitement! Curses to aid your quest, anyone? That will work out well! Join us for the fun!
Your donations buy you favor with the Mistress of Fate, the mysterious patron providing guidance and aid in the Crawl through your Carnival Journey! The more players engaged in the funnel joining the search for the village children, the more spirit your adventuring parties have to accomplish their quest! The bonuses to your actions increase when more players traverse the map!
Purchase a ticket for the event and join us whenever you have time for this ever-popular charity event benefitting the American Cancer Society! You will receive a memorial token for the event to present to play throughout the day! Multiple parties will work together to explore the wonders and horrors of the Carnival in search of the missing kids! Your donations will directly benefit cancer patients and those affected by their suffering.
Each player will receive a "floating ticket" to use for any hour's raffle, and every multiple of $4 donation will get you another ticket for that hour’s raffle. Non-players can also buy into hourly raffles for the $10 fee, receive a Memorial Token and join in the raffle fun! Non-players will also receive the "floating ticket" to use for any hourly raffle, and the same $4 multiple donation policy will apply to any hourly raffles for non-players. External donors are encouraged to influence the game with well-placed donations to swing the adventurers’ play... It's your choice for if the effect is for good or ill!
Players will be provided with pre-gens of random 0-levels from our towers of fodder populated by the Purple Sorcerer Games' (https://purplesorcerer.com/) 0-Level Party generator. Come witness the “towers of meat” containing your replenishment of brave 0-levels to rescue the kids from the Carnival!

• We will celebrate our friends who have passed on with two special monuments: Adventurers’ Rest, celebrating those lost to us in the last year, and the Pillar of Strength, contributed by Peter Garancis, giving us a beautiful, interactive and visual remembrance of those we have lost to cancer while celebrating those who have survived. Place a pinned ribbon in the pillar to honor these loved ones!
• The Mega-Funnel will be an experience you won’t forget, with three top Judges at a time running teams through a funnel simultaneously with up to 18 (and sometimes more!) other players in the Crawl on our 12' x 12' map! It’s an experience you don’t want to miss!

  On December 28, 2018, the gaming community suffered a major loss of a gaming friend in Jerry Stefek when he was lost to cancer. Jerry was an incredible father, friend, avid gamer, history buff and re-enactor. His love of these hobbies and friends was always evident in his words and actions. We would like celebrate Jerry and do Good works in his name, helping others in their time of need while going through this traumatic illness!
