With howling and the clash of bells and drums, the moonlit horde charges out of the black forest headlong toward the unsuspecting village! The valley floor will soon be coated in blood soaked snow and gore. From your safe perch on the mountain side you can wait things out, make your way carefully down to help any survivors, or charge recklessly down the snow covered slopes in a vain attempt to prevent the slaugther. The biting winter cold is replaced by the surge of heat from your blood now pounding furiously through your veins. What do you do? What CAN you do?
Nightfell is a realm where gods fall and new heroes rise! The sun has been extinguised and the moon is the only source of light. Hope is but a fleeting ember and the last vestiges of civilization cling to existence in isolated bastions struggling agains the encroaching darkness.
