Cattle Mutilations are Up

Your posse is about a day’s ride east of St. Joseph, Missouri on a well-worn trail that is more of a road at this point. You’ve heard-tell of this rough and tumble town…known as the gateway to the West… Headquarters of Overland Stage and starting point of the Pony Express… The dime novels tell of all sorts of colorful characters who leave a story behind in this grease pit of a cattle town…hell, it’s hardly a town at all and more of a metropolis with all the cattle, ghost rock, other resources and money (and lots of it) that pass through…tainting some and saving others. It is to this overnight metropolis you are headed with thoughts of opportunity as you know well-and-good that a posse comprised of your collective “skills” certainly will be hired on in no time.

Now listen up, y’all. This here scenario ain’t for the faint of heart. There’s bound to be a passel of mud, blood n’ fracas to fill a fair-sized honey wagon. So, strap on your hogleg, grab your most reliable gadget and keep that “special” page of Hoyle’s bookmarked. The row and ruckus begins with the hiss of stale coffee splashing the campfire coals. 

A variety of Deadlands custom characters will be available to pick from and we will be using minis and scatter terrain. Your Marshal is a “roll play first, roll dice second” GM so expect to be throwing bennies around. Oh…and a hint to the wise: If’n you ain’t filthy before you set out on the trail with this one, you will be come sunrise.
