Pert Near Killed 'Em

Now, I hear-tell that the military fort north of Grafton, Illinois is conscripting folk with specified talents for what they call, “commission work”. You know that this means…you’ll be answering to someone with a shiny badge that doesn’t say ‘Marshal’ or ‘Sherriff’ for your marching orders on this one. Due to the hush-hush nature of these jobs, you know the pay will be hefty and…as has come to pass…so will the risk.

The fort has experienced some vandalism as of late. Now, this normally can be handled by the boys in blue of their own accord but they have not been able to catch hide nor hair of the perpetrator(s). On top of that, a spate of soldiers abandoning their posts hinder further orders to investigate. So, with few hands to spare, Lieutenant Pryce has offered a sizable reward to a group of ‘stalwart subcontractors” to thwart further theft and vandalism. 

This is a Deadlands scenario that takes place along the Malignant Mississippi River in an alternative 1884. Unique character selections are provided. Miniatures and scatter terrain will be used. Your Marshal is a ‘role play first, roll dice second’ GM. This adventure is BYOBBB (Bring Yer Own Bacon, Beans n’ Biscuits).
