As part of the Marine Expeditionary Corps, you are a member of an elite squadron supporting the push of man into the void .. at least that is what you signed up for. You ended up attached to the Engineering and Technical Systems Group consisting mostly of engineers and technicians. Now comes another mission where a colony communication system is offline and your squad of highly trained soldiers is babysitting technicians performing a standard wellness check on colonists. Surely just another cake run and boring day at the office...
