Needfest in the Shield Lands

A playtest session set in the Shields Lands of the world of Greyhawk. The game is part of the playtest of the Hawk Tales Fantasy Role Play, rules system loosely based on D&D with the intent of making it freely available as Creative Commons.
The premise for the games is that a group of Shield Landers will be tasked with a mission to patrol the surroundings of the capital Critwall during Needfest in 599 CY, a decade into Iuzian incursion into the Shield Lands. The party will consist of a group of characters around 5th level going out to make sure Critwall can keep celebrating free of Iuzian trouble.  

Characters, sample rules, spell list and all other necessary information will be provided for download before the convention. A set of dice from d4 to d100 is being used for gameplay. An online pre-session going over things before the convention will be offered to be better prepared for the game. More information will be provided here before the convention for players signed up to the game.
