Sunday, January 2nd, 1927. A roaring New Years party at the New Green Mill Café ended with a man lying dead in a snowy alley behind the speakeasy. You’ve been hired to find out who did it and why. After that? Make them pay. But when your investigation leads you through the smuggling tunnels beneath the city, what long forgotten secrets will you find?
Dry January is a one-shot Cthulhu Awakens adventure set in 1927 for four to six players. No experience is necessary. Rules will be taught, and all materials will be provided. If you want to bring your own dice, bring three d6 where one die is recognizably different from the other two. Pre-generated characters will be provided and may be customized at the start of play.
Content warnings: body horror, alcohol and drug use, violence, death, and depictions of horrific creatures. No real life bigotry, hate, or harassment will be tolerated.
