In 1348, Florence is ravaged by the Black Death, which turns the dead into ravenous Revenants. Ten young Florentines flee the city and seek refuge in a villa in the countryside, hoping to escape the horror. At first, the villa seems safe, but death soon follows them inside. People die, vanish or return as monsters, and the villa becomes a place of fear and mystery. The nearby abbey calls upon the Ordo Mortis to investigate and eradicate the contagion.
