Playing board games is not only a wonderful pastime it can help us with development of skills that are helpful in navigating the wider world.  In this panel discussion we will talk about what different skills can be practiced through board games, how we can use gaming intentionally to help us practice these skills, and how to look through your own gaming collection to better understand your brain.  This talk will together psychology and game design. We will also talk about how to design games to help players practice different skills.
