Kantos Kan was thrilled to be on the hunt again. The Jedwar of the Helium Navy was personally in charge of the rescue of John Carter, Jeddak of Jeddaks of Barsoom. Carter, along with his son Carthoris, his son-in-law Gahan of Gathol, and his truest friend, Tars Tarkas were all abducted whilst away from Helium. What Kantos Kan was not thrilled with were his fellow rescuers: Dejah Thoris, the Jeddak of Jeddak’s beloved; Tara of Gathol, the Jeddak of Jeddak’s daughter; Thuvia of Ptarth, the Jeddak of Jeddak’s daughter-in-law; and Sola, Tars Tarkas’ daughter. Fierce women all, but the Jedwar could not help feeling that, well, if something went wrong, it would be a bad day to be Jedwar…
