Your party has been hired as a protection detail for Professor Varlo Corrik, a brilliant inventor and engineer. He has dedicated his life to mastering advanced technology that allows for a hyperdrive that can travel to other galaxies. He claims to have come up with a working prototype and is now looking for investors to help mass produce it. The search for investors has led him to Port Nomad in the Outer Rim sector of space. Port Nomad is a seedy locale favored by space pirates, black market traders, corporate cronies, and political powers looking to do business away from the prying eyes of the Empire. That shouldn’t be an issue, that is why he has you here to protect him.
The adventure is set around 2 BBY as the Rebellion is growing, but still infighting between various resistance factions.
