Ready to take your Root experience to the next level? Always wondered what it would be like to play with the wide-array of factions in the Woodland War? This session uses the ADSET setup system, the Partisans and Exiles card deck, and content from all main expansions.
This is not a full rules teach; we’ll assume familiarity with the core mechanics. However, each player will receive a clear explanation of their chosen faction before the game begins and during play, so no prior experience with expansion factions is required!
With ADSET, you’ll draft factions and map positions for a more strategic and varied opening, then dive into a richly asymmetric game featuring a wide range of playstyles—from militant empires to insurgent networks and opportunistic wanderers.
Expect a deeper, more competitive experience with plenty of interaction and table talk.
