Gamehole Con Grand Tournament

Welcome to the Gamehole Con Grand Tournament, hosted by Away Games — a 5-round, 11th Edition Warhammer 40,000 GT.

This Event takes place in Madison, WI, bringing together some of the best 40K generals for two days of competition, October 17–18th. This Event is part of the amazing Gamehole Con and we are excited to be a part of it!

The Event has constructed a battlefield in which players have a standardized and fair playing experience across every tabletop, giving generals a chance to fight to the death for eternal glory… along with awards and prizes.

Away Games is hosting the Event — providing the GW terrain and judging throughout.

Players can expect EVERY table to have standardized "GW style" terrain, created by Away Games, along with Chess Clocks.

The Event will be using the GW Rules, Balance Dataslate and current FAQ, along with WTC Clock Rules and Code of Conduct — combining these elements to deliver a competitive, high-quality GT experience for the 40K community!

Any rules updates, FAQs, errata, or Balance Dataslates released by Games Workshop two (2) or more weeks prior to the Event will be considered legal and in effect. Any changes released less than two weeks before the Event will not be used.

This Event uses standard GT Swiss pairings. The full format will be detailed in the Event Packet, releasing soon.

Pairing Process: Swiss (paired by Match Points; tiebreakers: Game Wins, then Battle Points)

Round Breakdown: 3 Rounds Saturday, 2 Rounds Sunday

Ticket Fee: $120.00 per Player, total — includes Event Badge and Event Ticket, purchased through the Gamehole Con website

Prizes: Overall Placings, Best General, Best Painted, Best in Imperium, Chaos, Xenos

Placings Process: Match Points, Game Wins, Battle Points
