Mirth meets myth. Dan Taylor, Dungeon Master of the live show with comedians playing Dungeons & Dragons on comedy club stages, will task game creators to play as characters in the "Catacomediaverse" D&D setting. It's high(larious) fantasy when an amusing adventuring party of intrepid creators explore a realm both fanciful and funny while making a joke of "the world's greatest roleplaying game." Roll for hilarity!

Special Guest

Dan Taylor

Introduced to Dungeons & Dragons in 1977 (along with Star Wars, Atari, and The Hobbit), Dan has been a gaming nerd ever since. He is the creator, producer, game master (and sometimes player) of Catacombs & Comedians, which features stand-up comedians sitting down at a table live on stage for an actual-play experience in comedy clubs throughout the Midwest and South. At conventions, he tasks TTRPG creators and personalities to do the same in front of con attendees. Besides D&D, Catacombs & Comedians has made a joke of Call of Cthulhu, Daggerheart, Traveller, and other tabletop roleplaying games. He also wrote the Klingon sidebar/fluff material for Modiphius' Star Trek: Adventures. (Yes, even Klingons need written fluff.) Outside the TTRPG-verse, Dan's creative endeavours include co-creating the fan-favorite comic book (Super) Hero Happy Hour and serving as Editor at IDW Publishing on titles such as Star Trek, The Transformers, and 30 Days of Night. Dan has also written the swashbuckling novella, Pirat Tales: Legend of the Cat o' Nine Tails, featuring rats as pirates. Dan lived the first 50 years of his life in Southern California before moving to the Nashville, TN area, where he now lives with his wife, daughter, two dogs, and two cats.
